Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress Liberty Belle N390TH
The Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress “Liberty Belle” N390TH arrived at Glasgow Prestwick on the 2 July,2008 after an epic voyage that started from her home base in Georgia.She flew in honour of the World War II veterans and followed the traditional flight path of the war time bombers routing Bangor USA- BGR/KBGR ,Goose Bay Canada-YYR/CYYR, Narsarsuaq Greenland-BGBW,Reykjavik Iceland-BIRK and finally on to Glasgow Prestwick EGPK/PIK.
